Our History

Our company was founded in 2003 in Columbus, OH. After securing a contract to represent one of the largest national telecommunications companies, the founding team of just 5 people grew to 30. Together, they grew their client’s market share in their local market by 400% in the first year.

Next stop: Atlanta, GA. In 2004, the team headed south to pilot a marketing campaign for a new telecommunications client. The success of this endeavor led to the opening of several new offices throughout the Southeast and Midwest.

The company’s headquarters were relocated to Southern California in 2009, at which point, they took on a third telecommunications company as a client. Within no time, they became the client’s top producer of outsourced sales.

In 2013, the company re-branded to be known as 2313 Inc (read the story below) and established its now-home in Farmington Hills, MI. In the years since, we have worked with clients in industries such as telecommunications, wireless communications, garbage service, and energy. Campaigns have included B2B, B2C, and retail.

Since its inception, 2313 Inc has expanded to over a dozen locations across the country, and has represented a portfolio of well-known brands… and we’re only just getting started! The team couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come.

Our Name

2/3/13 is the day that our founder and CEO, Ken, decided to live for the future and not worry about the past.

Ken was away on a company retreat in South Florida. Not far from their home, his parents came to see him at the resort. One day, Ken walked into the hotel room to find his whole family in tears. His mother revealed to him the news that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She reassured her son, who was visibly worried and feeling hopeless, that she would start treatment and fight the cancer with everything she had.

Over the next year, Ken’s mother endured chemotherapy, and by summertime, she received the unbelievable news that she was cancer free. This couldn’t have come at a better time, as Ken had recently proposed to his now-wife, Sara. Miraculously, Ken was able to dance with his mother at his wedding. For a period of time, life was good and business was great.

It wasn’t long before Ken received the worst news he could imagine: his mom was re-diagnosed with cancer.

This time, it had spread throughout her body. Devastatingly, his father was in the same boat, and was diagnosed with liver cancer.

Ken’s mom lost her battle with cancer on November 15, 2012.

Ken and his brother decided to take action with their father. They moved him to Boston and sought the best medical care possible. That year, Ken spent a memorable holiday with his father, who was rapidly declining. Ken returned home to his wife, who was 8 months pregnant with their first son.

The news came on February 2, 2013 that his dad had passed. A day later, on February 3, 2013, Brady Asher was born.

Our CEO, Ken is a firm believer that when one door closes, another door opens. It was as if his father was creating a path for his son to enter this world.

Later that year, an interesting business proposition came about, and it was in Detroit, Michigan.

Our Partnership – to help the Local Community 

The pandemic has increased the need for teaching socialization to children. Social Skills for Kids provides skill-based, social, and emotional learning groups for ages 5-18 with parenting guidance. Social Skills for Kids was developed to help children learn essential skills to reach their social and emotional potential. 2313 Inc has been an amazing partner in allowing us to share their office space to teach these essential skills. This year, we have serviced over 100 children & their families and appreciate the use of their office space. We hope to continue to partner with 2313 Inc in the future and impact our local communities side by side.
